She Does Tri Staff
Brad Rex, Swim and Run Coach
In his own words:
“I happily fell into swimming after realizing I would never master the heavily weighted eye/hand sports: baseball, bowling and billiards. An unhappy set of circumstances allowed for time to sit on the deck with college coaches and learn why we swam all of those laps and why we did drills. I was fascinated. Still am. I learned from some great coaches: Frank Keefe, Doc Councilman, Mr. McElwee, and my dad, Bill Rex.
The sport of Triathlon afforded an opportunity to chase a few personal goals at the national and international level again and also to avoid a real job for some time. After 230 multi sport races, countless swim meets, years or bike races and foot races, the only town I've ever been kicked out of was Banff, Alberta, Canada. It's OK for me to go back now. I'm pretty sure. I should check.
Thanks to triathlons I have worked in and around the worlds of swimming, running and cycling for close to 30 years. Few things make me happier than watching someone achieve a breakthrough in their training or skill set. I hope I'm on deck when you do.”
